Bring a Mural to Your School

A guided, inclusive mural experience where every student contributes to one shared artwork.

Designed for schools in Adelaide — fully guided, with no extra load on teachers.

Inclusive • Supportive • Step-by-step

I work with schools and community groups to create collaborative murals where students of all ages and abilities can take part.

Using the Pattern Play approach, the process is simple, structured, and engaging—so the artwork comes together as a cohesive whole while still reflecting each student’s contribution.

What This Looks Like in Action

Across this page, you’ll see real examples of students working together to create colourful, wall-sized murals—no ladders or steps required—using the Pattern Play Collaborative Art framework.

How the mural process works

Plan
We work together to choose the colour direction, and plan how the mural will unfold in your space.

Create
Students paint together over a series of guided sessions, building the artwork layer by layer in a way that is inclusive, engaging, and easy to follow.

Finish
At the end, I add the mural title and first names of the painters, and refine the overall design so it feels cohesive, balanced, and complete — while still clearly belonging to the group who created it.

Why schools love collaborative murals

  • Inclusive for all ages and abilities
  • Builds confidence and connection
